Meet the experienced and friendly doctor and staff who make Nice Eye Care a leading provider of vision care products and services in Burlington.

Dr. Keith B. Nice

Dr. Nice has been practicing optometry since 1994. He is a native of Durham where his father was a high school biology teacher for many years. Dr. Nice graduated from North Carolina State University in 1989. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1993 at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. He moved to Alamance County in 1994 where he has been practicing in downtown Burlington. He has a special interest in vision care for children.
His free time is spent in outdoor activities with his wife and two sons. He is also active in numerous community and church activities including leading music.

He is a member of North Carolina State Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Lindsay Totten

Dr. Lindsay Totten is a native of Alamance County and received her undergraduate training at Elon University. She went on to graduate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. After graduation from optometry school, Dr. Totten moved back to her home state where she has practiced since 2013, providing primary care optometry, emergency eye care, fitting contact lenses, and providing pediatric eye care. Dr. Totten specializes in the management of ocular disease, including glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, dry eyes, infections, and headache management. She believes that the best healthcare relationships are built on mutual trust, and strives to involve patients in personal decisions about their care.

Dr. Totten is licensed by the North Carolina State Board of Optometry as well as the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the North Carolina State Optometric Society.

Dr. Gregory Barker

Dr. Gregory Barker graduated from N.C. State University and obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1990. While there, he received the Dean of Student Affairs Award for outstanding service to PCO, as well as, the Clinical Excellence Award from the William Feinbloom Vision Center. He is a native of Alamance County and graduated from Western Alamance High School.

After 31 years of successful solo practice at Mebane Eye Care, Dr. Barker is excited to join the Nice Eye Care team and continue providing exceptional patient care. He and his wife, Lorie, live in Mebane where they are active members of Cross Roads Presbyterian Church. Dr. Barker enjoys spending time with family, walking, reading, and relaxing at the beach.

Dr. Barker is licensed by the North Carolina State Board of Optometry and the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.
