Dr. Keith B. Nice

Dr. Nice has been practicing optometry since 1994. He is a native of Durham where his father was a high school biology teacher for many years. Dr. Nice graduated from North Carolina State University in 1989. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1993 at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.

Dr. Nice moved to Alamance County in 1994 where he has been practicing in downtown Burlington. He has a special interest in vision care for children.

His free time is spent in outdoor activities with his wife and two sons. He is also active in numerous community and church activities including leading music.

Dr. Nice is a member of North Carolina State Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association.


Dr. Jenna Roney

Dr. Jenna Roney has been practicing optometry since 2017. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Elkins Park, PA. In addition to her OD degree, she also received an Advanced Studies certification in Neuro-Ophthalmic Disease. She completed clinical externships at the Triangle Eye Institute in Raleigh, the W.G. Hefner Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Salisbury, and The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA.

During the course of her practice, Dr. Roney has developed a strong passion for the diagnosis and management of dry eye disease. In addition, she has a special interest in the management of ocular disease with specialty contact lenses including custom soft, rigid gas permeable, hybrid, and scleral contact lenses.

She is a member of the American Optometric Association, North Carolina Optometric Society, the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA), and the International Sports Vision Association (ISVA). She is currently working towards her fellowship certification for the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) as well the Scleral Lens Society (SLS).

Dr. Roney, a native of Alamance County, is proud to call Burlington home with her husband and their son. They also have two Great Pyrenees dogs that they affectionately refer to as “the polar bears”. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, photography, and volunteering at her church.


Dr. Ji Young Ahn

Dr. Ahn is originally from South Korea and lived in Bolivia for 7 years before moving to Raleigh. She received her undergraduate degree from William Peace University in Raleigh. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2021.

Her externships included focuses in pediatric and geriatric eye care, retinal disease, and specialty contact lenses including scleral lenses. Her clinical interests include contact lenses and pediatric eye care.

Dr. Ahn and her husband Ryan live in Chapel Hill. They enjoy spending time traveling, hiking, and especially playing with their kitten ‘Kit Kat’ who they recently adopted.

Dr. Ahn is a member of the North Carolina State Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association.
